MEETINGS:

When: Third Wednesday of the Month, 7:00pm

Where: Winter

(aka Building Season starting now...)

Meetings will be held at Mike's Workshop, Next Door to the Field

Summer - Meetings will be held at the field - bring a plane for some flying before (or after) the meeting!!

What: The (short) usual business but that includes show and tell as well!

Our club meetings are a little unusual, during the Summer the meetings are held at the field.  Members can get some flying in before and after the meetings, lighting permitting, or for those of you with lights on your plane, keep flying after dusk.  Winter meetings are also the mix of business and fun stuff, but if you have skis or floats on your plane, Cool!  Bring it out early for some Winter flying and show and tell how you do it!

We are looking for a few good fliers!  Okay, we are looking for anyone INTERESTED in flying or other aspects of R/C Airplanes: Building, repairing, setting up, etc...  If you are in the area looking for an R/C Flying Club, please drop us a line or just stop out.  The field is a short drive from Hartford and is just North of Hwy 60, which makes it very accessible to the area towns/cities like Ashippun, Erin, Hartford, Hustisford, Iron Ridge, Lebanon, Neosho, Oconomowoc, Rubicon and Slinger, to name a few.  The club has a number of members willing and able to help those that need a little "assistance" with their flying.  We also have the ability to get you flying on a simulator before you start flying that new plane.

LOCATION:

The club field is located just West of Hartford, WI.

From Hartford:

60 West to County Road "P" (North)

County Road "P" North to County Road "N" (West)

The field is ~1.3 miles West on the North side of County Road "N"

Okay, so it's getting a little ch-ch-ch-chilly, so what?!

You can still fly!!  There are a number of things you can do this Winter to keep your fingers/thumbs in tune.  Here's a short list of things to consider this Winter:

- Put skis or floats on your plane

- Get to a gym and fly indoors

- Start logging time on that simulator

- Take a plane with you on your trip, check with the AMA for a local club if you are going South and contact the club president to see what it would take to fly at "their" field
