Welcome to the Rubicon Area Flyers RC Club
The club is dedicated to all types of flying Radio Controlled Flying Models, whether you have a Park Flyer, Giant Scale, Jet, Glow-Powered, Electric-Powered or who-knows-what.  The point is that you enjoy flying or have an interest in learning more about flying and the planes we fly.  If you are interested in learning more about the club, please drop us a note through the Contact Us link.

We are looking for a few good fliers!

Okay, we are looking for anyone INTERESTED in flying or other aspects of R/C Airplanes: Building, repairing, setting up, etc...  If you are in the area looking for an R/C Flying Club, please drop us a line or just stop out.  The field is a short drive from Hartford and is just North of Hwy 60, which makes it very accessible to the area towns/cities like Ashippun, Erin, Hartford, Hustisford, Iron Ridge, Lebanon, Neosho, Oconomowoc, Rubicon and Slinger, to name a few.  The club has a number of members willing and able to help those that need a little "assistance" with their flying.  We also have the ability to get you flying on a simulator before you start flying that new plane.

Location:
The Club field is located just West of Hartford, Wi.
From Hartford:
60 West to County Road "P" (North)
County Road "P" North to County Road "N" (West)
The field is ~1.3 miles to the West, on the NORTH side of County Road "N".
W1688 County Road N
Rubicon, Wi 53078

Building Season!!
Welcome to Winter in Wisconsin.  It's currently building season for most flyers.  However!!!  There are plenty of opportunities to fly in Winter, put skis or floats on your plane and head out to a park or lake or other areas (safely) to take advantage of some Winter Flying.

Club Meetings
Club meetings are held the third Wednesday of the month at 7:00pm at the field.  If you have an interest in attending any of our meetings, please send us a note through rubiconareaflyers@yahoo.com.

Club meetings are a little unusual.  During the Summer, meetings are held at the field.  Members can get some flying in before/after the meetings, lighting permitting.  For those with lights on your planes, keep flying after dusk.  Winter meetings are typically held next door but if you have skis/floats on your plane, come out and fly!
